The former Ashton Sixth Form student is heading to World Championships in Turkey on Monday.

He's currently the most successful English athlete in Europe, having medalled most.

Jack's success is all the more impressive given karate is a self-funded sport. In a bid to help him achieve more success, the Carrbrook teenager is appealing to local businesses and generous benefactors for sponsorship.
