In a thrilling match at the Falcon Fire Stadium in Chadderton, Glossop North End secured an impressive victory in a match filled with action and excitement.

With goalkeeper Ellis Allen making his debut and manager Richard Brodie overseeing his inaugural game since being appointed as the permanent manager after his interim spell that began at the end of October, the Hillmen put on a spectacular show for the travelling fans.  The game started with Chadderton asserting early pressure, securing four corners within the opening moments. Despite Chadderton's defense holding firm after an attempt by Jay Gorton, a breakthrough came in the 41st minute. Former Glossop goalkeeper Morgan Bacon made an initial stunning save, but the rebound off the crossbar fell to Glossop's no. 9, Tom Lawless, who calmly slotted the ball home, giving Glossop the lead. The second half continued to showcase Glossop's attack. Finley Stanyer came agonisingly close, striking the post just moments before Jacques Etia soared high to meet Bobby Bjork's corner with a powerful header, doubling Glossop's advantage. Captain Mark Haslam then orchestrated a precise delivery into the box, allowing Jay Gorton to unleash a thunderous header, further extending Glossop's lead to 3-0. However, Chadderton refused to go down quietly and managed to breach Glossop's defence, denying them a clean sheet with a well-taken goal. As the game reached its closing stages,  Glossop's new goalkeeper, Ellis Allen, made a crucial save to maintain their lead, before the Hillmen continued their offensive onslaught. Bobby Bjork fired a left-footed rocket into the net, registering his first goal for Glossop and taking the score to 4-1.  After a late audacious attempt by Harry Freedman that narrowly missed, landing on the top of the net, Glossop North End emerged triumphant at the final whistle, securing a significant and emphatic win away in Chadderton.
