The talents of young artists from across Glossopdale was on display recently as part of the Hadfield Open Art Show.
The Craft Barn in Hadfield showcased a Children’s Exhibition, displaying the work of 91 youngsters under the age of 16.
Julia Norton, Manager of The Craft Barn, said: “The Hadfield Open Art Show is such a wonderful community event and it’s great that the work of children is celebrated.”
Local professional artist, Jean Hobson, had the challenging task of picking winners in four age categories.

They were: Age 0-4 Phoebe with 'Very Hungry Caterpillar'; Age 5-7 Joseph with 'Man in Space'; Age 8-10 Anna with 'Fruit' and Age 11-15 Macy with 'Deep Sea'.
Thanks to sponsorship from Councillor Becki Woods, each winner was presented by newly appointed Mayor, Cllr Peter Inman, with a voucher to spend in Glossop Craft Centre.
But that wasn’t the end of the prize giving, as every visitor to the exhibition was able to choose their favourite piece and 394 votes were cast.
'Maestro' by Maria Hill (pictured below) attracted the most and she was crowned this year's 'People's Choice' winner.
