Planned menage refused

Plans to change the location of previously approved all-weather equestrian menage have been refused by High Peak Borough Council.

The proposal for land at Rivendell Farm, Woodseats Lane in Charlesworth has been turned down as it would result in inappropriate development in the Green Belt due to the location, scale, and materials.

House extension rejected

Proposed extensions and alternations to a property in Glossop have been refused by planners.

The application was for a single storey rear and front extension, roof alterations and dormer extensions at 82 Sunnyfields, Sheffield Road, Glossop.

However, the plans have been rejected as the proposed changes would be entirely out of keeping and be visually harmful to the character of the host dwelling and the established character of the street scene.

The plans are available to view on the council’s website at www.highpeak.gov.uk
