Plans turned down

Two applications to extend properties in Glossopdale have been rejected by High Peak Borough Council.

In Tintwistle proposals for single storey side and rear extensions at 7 Manchester Road were refused as its siting and design would harm the character and appearance of the existing dwelling and street scene.

An application for a single storey rear and front extension at 82 Sheffield Road in Glossop has also been turned down.

The plans were refused as the proposed development would be entirely out of keeping and be visually harmful to existing property and street scene.

The plans are available to view on the council’s website www.highpeak.gov.uk
