ROUND-UP: High Peak planning applications

Read our latest round-up of planning applications which have been submitted to High Peak Borough Council.

Plans that have been given the go ahead and granted permission by High Peak Borough Council include: 

  • Demolition of existing conservatory and replacement with single storey rear extension at 29 Woodlands Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith 
  • Single storey extensions and roof alterations at Hillcrest, Cote Lane, Hayfield 
  • Front porch at 7 Linglongs Avenue, Whaley Bridge 
  • Sub-division of existing dwelling into 2no. houses. Internal works to reinstate division of cottages that historically combined to form one dwelling at 5 London Place, Bridge Street, New Mills 
  • Construction of garage at 15A York Street, Glossop 
  • Single storey extension at Hilltop View, Hilltop Road, Glossop 
  • Loft conversion and alterations to existing rear extension at 87 New Mills Road, Hayfield 

Extension plans refused 

Plans for a conservatory to be replace with a two-storey extension have been rejected by High Peak Borough Council. 

The application submitted for the property at 1A Bridgefield, Glossop was refused as the proposed extension would dominate the existing building.
