Police renew appeal after five-vehicle collision in Glossop

Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses after two people were taken to hospital following a collision involving five vehicles on a main road in Glossop. 

The incident happened on High Street West, close to the mini roundabout at the junction with Primrose Lane, at around 5pm on Monday 9 January. 

Derbyshire Police say an Audi A6 and a Hyundai were in collision, with the Hyundai then colliding with a Nissan Qashqai. Both the Hyundai and the Nissan were then in collision with two parked vehicles.

Two people were taken to hospital for treatment though their injuries are not thought to be serious.

The road was closed for several hours whilst emergency services responded.
