Police investigating public order offence in Charlesworth

An appeal for witnesses and information has been made by police investigating a public order incident that took place on Long Lane in Charlesworth.

Between 8.15am and 8.30am on Friday 19 May, a female pedestrian was shouted at by a van driver.

It happened close to the bridge, leading to Broadbottom.

Members of the public came to the woman's assistance.

If anyone witnessed the incident and are willing to provide a statement or have CCTV or Dash Cam footage, they are asked to contact police quoting reference number 23000305940.

They can get in touch through the police website, direct messaging on social media or by calling 101.

The Officer in the case is PC 14264 Cox.
