Ray will discuss football, with compere Andy Powell, as he reminisces on his playing days, social life, career after football and stories of the characters he met and nights out he had along the way.

The evening includes a comedian, raffle, auction, discussion as well as a question and answer session with Ray.

Paul Kelsall, General Manager of Pavilion Gardens, said: “With his personality and career, Ray appeals to genuine football fans as someone of real interest. We expect a great night and hope to raise a lot of money for Blythe House Hospice Care and Helen’s Trust”.

Sophie Wheeldon, Community Fundraiser from the charity, said: “As a charity we largely depend on donations to keep us going, so we are delighted to work with Parkwood Leisure on this event to raise funds.

“The week of the event is our Go Blue campaign so it's great that Pavilion Gardens have agreed to support us”.
