Kinder Mountain Rescue are looking to recruit new members to join the team.
Their selection and training process will start over the summer and continue through to spring next year, with full promotion to team membership projected for autumn 2024.
Team members are involved with providing assistance, and support to people who are in distress in the hills and are in need of our help. In some circumstances their actions help save lives.
Membership is taken seriously as it is a demanding commitment, but it is also very rewarding.
You will need a strong interest in the outdoors and in helping others, good outdoor and navigation skills, good teamworking skills, commitment and live within a 30-minute drive of Hayfield.
They are looking for a diverse range of people with complementary skills and personalities who will integrate into the team. You could be, for example, a walker, fell runner, mountain biker or climber. They are particularly interested in people with medical skills.
