Glossop Ladies Networking Group to restart

Kirsty Morbey

After several years hiatus due to the pandemic, local law firm Davis Blank Furniss is restarting its popular Glossop Ladies Networking Group.

The first meeting will take place on Tuesday 14 March between 10am to midday at Two Hares Deli and Café at 3 High Street East in Glossop.

The group, which is for any female business owner or entrepreneur working in the High Peak, is an opportunity for people to connect and expand their network in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

The cost to attend is £7, which will include a hot drink and a cake or pastry.

Kirsty Morbey, partner at Davis Blank Furniss and organiser of the Glossop Ladies Networking Group, said: “We ran the group successfully for about eight years before COVID so we are delighted to be bringing it back to the community.

"I’m so excited to working with the Two Hares Deli and Café as we start afresh with a new focus and determination to support our fabulous local businesses. We would love to see some new faces so we would encourage anyone who think it might be for them to sign up.”
