The bank holiday weekend proved to be a busy one for the volunteers of Glossop Mountain Rescue Team, with three calls for assistance.
On Sunday evening (30 April), they were called out to Middle Black Clough, for a 28-year-old woman who had sustained a back injury.
With the assistance of Woodhead MRT, the team and paramedics from North West Ambulance Service, she was treated at the scene before being flown to Sheffield Northern General Hospital by a S92 Coastguard helicopter.
Two people who had become benighted following a walk to the B-29 crash site needed rescuing on Saturday night (29 April).
The walkers were located with the use of phone find technology and, once located by the team, were walked back down the Pennine Way to Snake Summit.
Earlier on Saturday afternoon, the team assisted a walker with a lower leg injury, who was near to the waterfall at Crooked Clough on Bleaklow.
He was carried on a team stretcher to Snake Summit, from where he was taken back to his vehicle in Old Glossop.

Climber injured in fall
A climber suffered head and back injuries after falling 15ft onto a boulder in an incident near Millstone Edge on Monday (1 May).
Members of Edale Mountain Rescue Team were called by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist.
Following assessment and treatment for their injuries, the climber was carried to a waiting ambulance and taken to hospital for further treatment.
On Friday (28 April), the team were again called out this time to help a walker who had fallen injuring their leg while walking at Holmesfield.
Team members who were close by were quickly on scene to provide advanced first aid and pain relief.
The walker was carried back to the road from there they were taken to hospital for further treatment.
Walker injured in Hayfield
An ex-team member called out Kinder Mountain Rescue Team after they came across a walker who suffered an ankle injury on Sunday.
The former team member had called the ambulance service but realised mountain rescue would be needed to evacuate the casualty, who was on a path from Stitch Lane in Hayfield.
