999 High Peak family fun day

Emergency services who operate within the High Peak are putting the finishing touches to plans for a special family fun day being held in Buxton on 10 September.

999 High Peak What’s Your Emergency will be welcoming stands and demonstrations from a host of organisations including Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, Mountain Rescue, the Air Ambulance and Derbyshire Constabulary's Dog Unit.

It doesn’t matter how old or young you are, this day has something for everyone - and it's free!

As well as live demonstrations, there will also be emergency service vehicles, family friendly activities, refreshments and lots more.

Hosted by Buxton Police Safer Neighbourhood Team, it takes place on Saturday 10 September from 10am to 4pm at the Pavilion Gardens.
