Tameside Prepares for Theatre of Screams

Ashton Under Lynes’ famous Metro Cinema, home to the now defunct Slotworld Amusements, has been transformed by the team at Monopoly Events into a Halloween themed maze.

Residents of Tameside and beyond have the opportunity to explore one of Ashtons’ best kept historical sites this Halloween, as the site has been meticulously transformed into a “spine tingling, heart pounding experience of a lifetime.”

This is Theatre of Screams, and it is not to be taken lightly. The organizers have warned that the event is not for the faint hearted, and the event is age restricted to 15+ for tickets. Given this, we expect that Theatre of Screams will truly be living up to its’ name.

CEO and founder of Monopoly Events Andrew Kleek says that the attraction is “open to the brave souls and adrenaline junkies who seek to conquer their deepest fears and is NOT for the Faint-Hearted.”

The attraction is offering horror themed sets, terrifying live actors who will literally make you jump out of your skin, twisting eerie crawl spaces, and jump scares.
