Police are appealing for the public's help to locate a man believed to have been hit by a bus in Hyde.

Greater Manchester Police were called at around 5.30am on Saturday morning (2 July) to a report that a man had been involved in a collision with a bus on Dukinfield Road, near to the junction of Old Dairy Mews.

The pedestrian left the scene before officers arrived but is likely to have sustained "significant injuries", GMP has said.

Police want to speak to the man to make sure he is okay.

The man is described as being in his 30s, with medium length dark hair, of thin build and around 5ft 10ins tall. He was wearing a dark coloured top and shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to contact GMP by calling 101, quoting log number 659 of 2 July 2022.
