Nicola Davies, owner of Contented Canines Training School and The Puppy Nanny, has been celebrating a milestone achievement for her two businesses.

Dog owners across Glossop will be no stranger to Nicola Davies and her two dog based businesses, which have recently turned 15 years old under her management. Speaking on this landmark moment, Davies told us "I can't quite believe it! We've been walking and training the puppies and dogs of Glossop for 15 years."

To celebrate this, Nicola held a gathering at Glossop North End FC to thank those that had helped her on her journey. "We had an amazing day," Davies told us, "The bar was open, the sun was shining and everybody brought picnics, blankets and their dogs to celebrate with me." The day was full of fun for every age - from fun agility for the dogs, to quizzes for kids, and a bit of bubbly and cake for the adults.

She later reminisced about her time running the two businesses, filing through old photos from over ten years ago. "There are pictures from over ten years ago", Davies said, "they feature owners that have come back time and time again with each new addition to their doggy family - how lovely is that!"

Over the past 15 years, the businesses have seen Nicola in multiple locations, as she recalled. "My first venue was up at Hargate Hill 15 years ago (where everyone remembers trying to stop their puppies from eating horse poo!), and since I have ran training classes through Zoom in lockdown, I have published The Puppy Nanny Handbook, and now we are at our current home for dog training at Glossop North End FC!"

Nicola is hopeful for the future and toasted to the next 15 years of her businesses.
