Successful fundraiser will help refugee family settle in Glossop

A Back to the 80s dance party has raised much-needed funds for a Glossop group working towards supporting a refugee family settle in the area. 

The well-attended event by Glossop Welcomes Refugees was held at the Crystal Ballroom last Friday night (13 January).

Organisers have thanked all those who attended and supported the event. “It was packed, and we raised lots of money for our goal of helping a refugee family to settle here.” 

The group have committed to support a refugee family to settle in the area. As part of their commitment, they are looking to raise £10,500.
