Pico Lounge fundraiser raises money for Mummy's Star

A Family Fun Day held at the Pico Lounge in Glossop last week has helped raise vital funds for Mummy's Star.

The afternoon of fun included a visit from popular children’s characters Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol’s Chase.

Youngsters were able to enjoy a mini disco, face painting, entertainment from Magic Dave, and All Stars mini cricket sessions. There was also a craft fair and a tombola.

The amount raised hasn't yet been disclosed.

Hadfield-based Mummy’s Star is the only charity in the UK and Ireland dedicated to supporting women and their families diagnosed with cancer, during pregnancy or within 12 months of giving birth.
