New parish and town councillors already elected

A number of uncontested elections have taken place for a number of parish and town councils across the High Peak. 

This is where there are less candidates or the exact number of candidates as vacancies, so an election is not held. 

Elected unopposed are: 

Chapel-en-le-Frith Parish Council (13 seats) eight candidates: Mike Chantler, Jason Adshead, Alistair Beswick, Ian De Pee, Nick Hill, Timmy Norton, Stewart Young and Melissa Drabble.  

Charlesworth Parish Council (9 seats) six candidates: Peter Cooper, Marcus Gill, Garry Robinson, Cath Swindells, Simon Hurrell and Gillian Wheeler.  

Chinley Buxworth and Brownside Parish Council (10 seats), eight candidates: Richard Drabble, Damian Fannon, Alastair Knox, Caroline Rofer, Bill Smith, Mike Travis, Martin Wilton, and Patrick Wilson. 

Chisworth Parish Council (5 seats) five candidates: Martin Bell, David Brereton, Doug Brereton, Noel Jones and John Sargent. 

Tintwistle Parish Council (9 seats) eight candidates:David Buddell, Allan Dyer, Shaun Grace, Natasha Naz, Emily Scriven, Marianne Stevenson, Anthony Vanterpool and Meriel Boyd. 

Whaley Bridge Town Council (12 seats) 10 candidatesRodney Gilmour, Michael Ridgway, Linden Smith, Mike Glover, Barrie Taylor, David Lomax, Martin Thomas, Michelle Louise Webb, Ron Bowden, and Gordon Hall.
