New group set up in Glossop

Cornmill House in Glossop.

A new group is being set up in Glossop for people with a disability, who are neurodivergent or who have a long-term illness.

Being launched by Jane Miller, ‘1 in 5’ is for people who would like to meet up with other people with similar issues.

The first meeting is due to take place on Tuesday 18 April from 2.30 to 4.30pm at Cornmill House, on King Edward Avenue in Glossop. Friends and carers are also welcome to attend.

The group has been called ‘1 in 5’, believed to be the number of people who have a disability.
