High Peak Singers welcome new members for autumn term

A community choir which formed earlier this year are inviting new members to join their autumn term, starting on 19 September.

High Peak Singers, led by Hannah Brine, meet on Monday evenings at The Royal in Hayfield from 7pm to 8.30pm.

The choir has around 35 members and will perform a range of repertoire from gospel to pop, sea shanties and classical, though this term will have winter performances in mind, so the repertoire will be carols, Christmas classicals and interesting new choral winter pieces.

Hannah says: “I have been really impressed with how quickly the choir has started making a great sound, and I’m really looking forward to the new term. I love Christmas and working towards winter performances is always really fun."
