The Canal & River Trust is holding a volunteer welcome session at Bugsworth Basin in Buxworth on Saturday (28 January).

It's looking to recruit more volunteers and inviting anyone interested in getting involved and volunteering to go along.

Becoming a volunteer can help people get active, improve wellbeing, learn new skills, and meet new people.

Welcome Sessions are designed to give a real insight into the range of activities volunteers get involved with.
