Bus company donates Easter gifts to local hospital

Stagecoach Manchester has donated around 200 Easter gifts to children at the Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.

The gifts were donated and collected by staff working at the Stagecoach Ashton Depot, and included more than 150 Easter eggs, along with books and crayons for children staying in the hospital over the Easter period.

The gifts were delivered to the Hospital by bus from Ashton Depot, with “Happy Easter from #TheATeam" displayed on the front of the vehicle.

Rob Jones, MD at Stagecoach Manchester said: "All children deserve an Easter Egg at Easter, especially those having to stay in hospital over the long weekend.

“I’m really proud of our team at Ashton and we will continue to support the Greater Manchester community in whatever way we can."
