Teenage cyclist injured in collision in Denton

A teenage boy has been taken to hospital after being knocked off his bike on a Denton street. 

It happened on Seymour Street, close to the junction with Manchester Road South, just before 8am on Thursday morning (3 February). 

Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision involving a cyclist and a van. 

Greater Manchester Police has confirmed that a 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital and his injuries are not life threatening. 

It is understood that no arrests have been made.
