Rhino appeal to support Sandwich Angels

If you're local to Hyde, you will have seen the figure of a Rhino elevated high onto the side of international marketing company Rhino Group. 

The Rhino has been quite the feature across the town, often used as a backdrop for photographs with numerous requests for personalised messages, but with a purpose - as part of their partnership with local volunteers the Sandwich Angels. 

Rhino are asking for donations of supermarket vouchers with a minimum of £20 required, to get your personalised birthday, engagement or celebration message on the Rhino. 

The signage is created, produced and fitted at no additional cost, and Rhino are also matching all donations to ensure fewer local people go hungry.

Sandwich Angels are a group of unpaid volunteers distributing food parcels to struggling families, the elderly and vulnerable in Hyde and surrounding localities. With no government funding, they rely solely on public donations.

Founded by local entrepreneur Lee Higgins, Rhino Group have been operating since 1966 as a fully integrated marketing agency, across the UK and Europe. 

Working with some big brands including Volvo and Mercedes-Benz, Rhino have a large marketing studio and are able to cater for projects big or small - from creative, digital, signage and development projects.

The management team will be out delivering food parcels and Easter hampers with the volunteers at Sandwich Angels in April and your help will be greatly appreciated. 

Sandwich Angels remain desperately short of food supplies, with their services remaining in high demand.
