MP Gwynne reopens Citizen's Awards

Two previous Citizen's Award winners - Stephen Power and Ava-Grace Bancroft - receiving certificates from Denton MP Andrew Gwynne.

MP Andrew Gwynne has reopened nominations for the Denton and Reddish Citizens Awards.

The Awards, which were set up in 2020, allow members of the community to nominate someone who goes ‘above and beyond’ to recognise their contribution.

Since starting the awards, Gwynne has awarded over 70 certificates to local heroes, ranging from schoolteachers to food bank volunteers.

Commenting on the relaunch, Andrew Gwynne said: “I really am pleased to today announce the relaunch of The Denton and Reddish Citizens Awards, where anyone across Denton and Reddish can be nominated to recognise an outstanding contribution to their community.
