A monster hit at the Ladysmith in Ashton

A half-term invasion of dinosaurs proved a monster hit at Ashton’s Ladysmith Shopping Centre this half-term.

A Tyrannosaurus Rex was out on the prowl at the centre last Friday (25 February) to help keep families entertained.

Visitors had the chance to meet the prehistoric creature, Denver, along with his SWAT team and Rangers. Other free activities on offer included balloon modelling and face painting.

Lee Ellis, centre manager at the Ladysmith, said: “We always try to find fun things to do with the kids and the visit from the dinosaur proved really popular. It was a first for Ladysmith Shopping Centre this year and we were all extremely excited to be able to offer something new and unique for our customers.”

The event was completely free to attend and there were activities running from 11am to 3pm throughout the day.
