A woman is in hospital after being stabbed in what emergency services have described as a "domestic" attack in Oldham.
Officers rushed to an address on Clyde Street at around 8.40am on Sunday morning (16 May), after receiving reports of a "domestic stabbing" from North West Ambulance Service.
A 40-year-old woman was found with stab injuries and taken to hospital.
Police say the victim is in a serious but non-life-threatening condition.
The force also believes that it was a targeted attack.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Police were called shortly after 8.40am today (Sunday) to a report by NWAS of an earlier domestic stabbing at an address on Clyde Street, Oldham.
“A 40-year-old woman has been taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening stab wounds.
“No arrests have been made and an investigation is underway, with two scenes in place in the vicinity of the incident.
“Officers are confident this was a targeted attack and the victim is known to the attacker.”
