Sweet manufacturer transforms HQ for Trick or Treaters

British sweet manufacturer Swizzels celebrated Halloween by welcoming trick or treaters to the iconic factory in New Mills.

People from the local community and beyond headed to the Swizzels factory to trick or treat with friends and family while getting into the Halloween spirit.

The event was managed entirely by Swizzels employees who were delighted to welcome the public into the grounds for the free of charge event. The grounds were filled with Halloween themed games and trick or treat stalls while the iconic factory shone green for all to see.

Claire Lee, senior brand manager at Swizzels said:

“The spooky season is finally here! We love Halloween and wanted to celebrate it bigger and better than ever before. This is the third year running the event did not disappoint. The Swizzels team enjoyed seeing so many people at the event who left with happy faces. It was the perfect way for us to give back to the local community.”

Derbyshire-based Swizzels is the UK’s largest family-owned independent sugar confectionery business and one of the few confectionery companies to still manufacture sweets in the UK. Squashies is the No.1 Sugar Confectionery brand in the UK.
