TRIIIP

Band of the week on Tameside Radio's Local Music Spotlight feature are TRIIIP. The three-piece band are an electrifying alternative rock trio with a psychedelic twist hailing from Manchester, with roots in Johannesburg. The band offer a 'fresh sonic adventure' that defies genre boundaries. Combining pulsating electronic beats with 'in your face' guitar riffs and emotive vocals, TRIIIP pushes the limits of traditional rock, inviting listeners on a journey through new sonic landscapes.

Founded by Ciaran Quinn (vocals, bass guitar, synth) and Brogan Herron (Guitar, synth, vocals) in 2020, TRIIIP were later joined by friend Ben Chuvali (Drums). The band played a few shows in South Africa along with a handful of festivals, and then immigrated to Manchester in 2022 to pursue music and expand on their horizons.  Their fusion of alternative rock and electronic influences is a musical journey you won't want to miss. Songs released so far include 'So Shallow', 'First Born', 'ISO', and latest single 'Cosmic Love'. \
