The Haciendas

Band of the week on Tameside Radio's Local Music Spotlight are The Haciendas. The band are a Manchester based Indie Rock and Roll band who have rapidly gained a following who are as loyal to the lads as clubbers were to the iconic nightclub which they take their name from.

The Haciendas have been a firm favourite on Manchester’s live music scene since 2020, with headline shows at notable venues including The Deaf Institute, FAC251 and Canvas, and the four-piece have their sights set on big things.

Based in the Failsworth, The Haciendasreleased their first single ‘It’s Not Too Late’ in 2020, beginning their upward trajectory. Early 2022 saw therelease of their anthemic single ‘Passion Fever’ which gained attention from many radio stations around the Northwest.

Heading into 2024, TheHaciendas will be releasing their second EP early in the New Year. The first single from the EP, 'Overdose', was released in October, where they launched it at a sold-out headline show at Gulliver's in Manchester, which was also their final live gig of this year.

Mancunian lads through and through, TheHaciendas roots are weaved throughout their music, making them an irresistible and uncompromising addition to the city’s vibrant music scene and beyond. 2024 is lining up to be their biggest year yet, with some massive shows under wraps in the UK and beyond.

The Haciendas will be played on every weekday show on Tameside Radio between 6am and 7pm all of next week. The band also joined the team on The Dave Sweetmore Show last Monday night, you can listen again via the OnDemand section of the website.
