Sam Shaw

Sam is a multimedia journalist reporting for both Tameside Reporter and Glossop Chronicle and has a keen eye for reporting on local arts and culture, history and music. 

Sam graduated from City University London with a degree in journalism and has a passion for videography and photography, having created documentary videos in both the UK and Denmark.

As well as his role in writing for both papers, Sam created a video series titled "Off the Beaten Track". The series aims to show people the best walks in the Tameside and High Peak areas, whilst showing off the history in the surrounding areas.

Outside of work Sam spends time reading, travelling and doing photography.
