A 19-year-old man from Ashton has appeared in court after being charged with murder following the death of his 15-year-old sister in North Wales.

Matthew Selby, of Windermere Crescent, is accused of murdering Amanda Selby at Ty Mawr Holiday Park in Towyn last Saturday (31 July).

After a brief appearance at Llandudno Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (3 August), he was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Mold Crown Court on Wednesday (4 August).
