There's still time to support Hyde Fundraisers with their online event – Trial Revisited – on the group's YouTube channel.
Last month, the fundraisers released a special series of online episodes about the making of their show – ‘The Trial of Davros’ – to raise funds for BBC Children In Need.
The online content features contributions from those that have been involved in the project including actress Jean Rogers (Dolly from Emmerdale), John Leeson (Dr Who, Sarah Jane Adventures), Terry Molloy (The Archers/Dr Who) along with actors Andy Wisher and Hylton Collins.
Content also included unseen backstage footage and recordings made filming Daleks on location for the show, staged back in 2005 at the Tameside Hippodrome.
The pandemic has meant fundraising events in 2020 were cancelled and the group came up with the idea of promoting donations online through the Trial Revisited project.
