The Covid vaccination van is continuing its tour of Tameside with more pop-up clinics this week.

It will be at the car park at Haughton Vale Medical Practice on Tatton Road in Denton on Wednesday (16 June) and Thursday (17 June) from 4pm to 8pm on both days.

Then on Saturday (19 June), there will be a clinic at Guide Bridge Medical Practice on Guide Lane in Audenshaw from 9am to 12pm, while the van will be at Hyde Market Square on Clarendon Street in Hyde from 10am to 4pm.

Anyone who is eligible to receive their first dose of a coronavirus vaccine can simply drop in to the pop-up clinics, with no need for an appointment or ID.

People can book a time slot in advance by heading to www.tamesideandglossop.nhsvaccinations.co.uk or, if you don't have online access, you can call your GP practice.

As of Wednesday (16 June), anyone aged 21 or over is now eligible to get a jab.

Last week, the van started its tour of the area with two clinics at Ashton Market Square.
