Four charged after police seize suspected firearms

Four people have been charged with firearms offences after police raids at a number of properties, including in Tameside. 

Officers executed warrants at addresses in Audenshaw, as well as Newton Heath, in which a number of suspected firearms were seized. 

Dannell Jammeh, 40, and Mark Crolla, 39, both of Scotland Hall Road in Newton Heath, and Martin Joyce, 36, of Ashley Lane in Moston, have been charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to danger life. They have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday 12 January 2021.

Joseph Hodskinson, 30, of Hesford Avenue in Moston, has been charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life. He was due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on Monday (21 December). 

The raids were on Tuesday 15 and Thursday 17 December. 

Police say enquiries are ongoing.
