Dukinfield firm's summer campaign for laptops

Tameside-based computer firm ZenTec Network Solutions Ltd is desperately appealing for more donations of laptops to help those most in need.

Since launching a campaign to donate tech to children across the borough and beyond began last year, the Dukinfield firm has given away a huge £55,000 worth of laptops and other devices.

Ready for children to begin school again in September, the firm is committed to helping further.

Cerid Grimshaw, business development director at ZenTec, explained: “We are passionate about helping and giving back to the local community and we are helping to reduce the digital divide in Tameside.”

Donations have been made to schools, charities and even food banks, with the tech helping not only children, but the elderly too, helping them to keep in contact with loved ones.

ZenTec also aims to recycle and refurbish any unusable tech donated in order to ‘reduce the carbon footprint and do everything we can to help the environment.’

Any individuals or businesses especially that can donate can contact the firm direct on 0161 359 3986 or donations@zenteens.co.uk. You can also donate directly at www.zenteens.co.uk to help fund the refurbishment of donated laptops.
