Curzon coaching staff extend contracts to 2025

Craig Mahon puts pen to paper

Curzon Ashton have announced that player-manager Craig Mahon, and joint assistant managers Jack Salkeld and Mark Bradshaw have extended their contracts until 2025.

Since the three took over following the departure of Adam Lakeland last September they have not looked back, guiding the Nash into the playoff places and winning 16 out of their 29 games in charge.

The trio initially took over on an interim basis, but their impressive run has helped them to secure permanent roles.

Following the extensions, chairman Wayne Salkeld said:

“We are delighted that the management team have put pen to paper. We as a board felt we needed to get things stabilised, not only for rest of this season but for next season also.”

“We recognise as a club, the hard work the management team have put in since taking over in October and the results speak for themselves and we feel we have a great management team to take us forward.”
