Dementia Action Week at Oldham Library.

Join Oldham Library for an action-packed week full of information and activities to celebrate Dementia Action Week until 26 May.

Events include:

‘100 Ways to Tie a Shoelace’, Wednesday 22 May, 7pm

Since an accident, Kat is having trouble with her memory and the basics of everyday life. Her only escape from her muddled mind is a hospital ward TV. This heart-warming story explores Kat’s recovery as she tries to fight her anxieties and conquer her fears.

Singing for the Brain, Thursday 23 May, 12noon

Singing for the Brain is a service provided by Alzheimer's Society which uses singing to bring people together in a friendly and stimulating social environment.

Dementia Information Day, Friday 24 May, 11am

Find out more about dementia and the additional support and different groups available to join. Also help will be available regarding legal matters.
