With free universal Covid-19 testing set to end on Friday (1 April), we have been looking at the latest figures for the borough.
In the High Peak, the most up-to-date figures available have revealed that the number of Covid cases has risen by 7.6 per cent.
According to Public Health England data, the rate is 947.8 cases per 100,000 people for the seven days up to 23 March.
The figure across Derbyshire is 932.3 cases per 100,000 people.
Across the High Peak Borough Council area, there were 878 cases of Covid, a rise of 62, while across the county cases rose by 1,152 to 7,525.
In neighbouring Tameside, the figures for the same period show 664.9 cases per 100,000 with 1,510 cases.
Vaccination figures, which go up to and include 27 March, show that in the High Peak 71.5 per cent of adults and children aged 12 and over have received two doses and a booster.
In Derbyshire, that figure is 71.2 per cent and in Tameside 57.4 per cent of people have had three doses of the vaccine.
