A mysterious sink hole has opened up in Hadfield.
It was first noticed on the path between Brosscroft and Valehouse Drive on Tuesday morning.
The path runs along the edge of Roughfields and it’s believed the water run off from the green area has led to it opening up.
Padfield borough councillor Ollie Cross has been informed and he is contacting High Peak Borough Council officials before the hole gets bigger.
