Sandwich Angels in urgent need of volunteer driver

Hyde-based Sandwich Angels is in urgent need of a volunteer evening driver to pick up and drop off food in the Glossop area.

The not-for-profit community group, run entirely by volunteers, initially started out making sandwiches for the homeless when it was founded in 2017 but has significantly widened its remit to help families and all those most in need, delivering food packages across the area.

It supplies free food boxes to struggling families and the elderly and vulnerable in need.

The group wants to hear from anyone who can spare an hour to collect food on Friday or Saturday evening at 8.30pm or Sunday from 3.30pm to pick up and drop off in Glossop.

For more information or if you can help, call or text 07713 973 640.
