  Derbyshire council’s announcement that it aims to relocate Buxton Museum and Art Gallery from its iconic dry rot-ravaged building marks the end of an era for the venue which has helped to tell the town’s wonderful historic story through many generations since it opened in the late 1920’s.

• Buxton Road in Disley to be closed

  Part of the A6 in Disley will be closed on Monday 3rd June until Thursday 6th June.

• Local singer-songwriter Hannah Brine to perform at Buxton Fringe

  High Peak musician Hannah Brine is inviting audiences to two gigs as part of the Buxton Fringe.  Held at Buxton’s Green Man Gallery, the gigs will be intimate evenings of original music. 

• Glossop Music Festival returns on 21 and 22 June

  Glossop Music Festival takes place on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 June 2024 with events at Glossop’s Parish Church and St James’ Church.
