Listening and caring in Hadfield

Hadfield is taking 'Time to Listen and Care' thanks to a new initiative by the same name.

It’s aim is to support wellbeing and health in the local community. 

A number of council members have donated money out of their respective Councillor Initiative Funds to the wellbeing charity, which has already been used to send writing, drawing and colouring packs to local residents. 

The money, which comes from High Peak Borough Cllrs Edward Siddall and Ollie Cross, alongside Cty Cllrs George and Jean Wharmby, has helped 32 packs go out during uncertain times and allow the group to put on a weekly telephone service.
