Glossop Arts Project members celebrate end of summer term

There was a fantastic turnout as members of Glossop Arts Project enjoyed a special party to celebrate the end of the summer term.

Over 50 people aged between 18 and 90 came together to have some fun at Victoria Hall and collected their art packs filled with projects to complete over the summer break.

High Peak's Mayor Councillor Paul Hardy and Mayoress Mary Hardy joined them and chatted with group members.

Christine Clarke, Tesco Glossop's Community Champion, also went along and provided some gifts for the participants.

She said afterwards: "I would like to say thank you for my invitation today from our local group, Friends of Victoria Hall / Friends of Glossop Art Group. It has been a pleasure working alongside such amazing people and I look forward to the coming year in September."

Glossop Arts Project runs Arts for Wellbeing groups for people with physical and mental health conditions.
