We've rounded up the latest incidents that our local mountain rescue teams have been called out to.
Family needed rescuing
Glossop Mountain Rescue Team went the aid of a family of four who became lost after visiting the B-29 crash site on Saturday.
With the use of phone find they were located, and team members called out at 5.30pm were able to escort them back to Snake Summit where their vehicle was parked.
The volunteers made their way back to base to carry on with a night exercise that was planned for the evening.
Walker lost in mist
A walker had to be rescued after they became lost on Bleaklow in misty and windy conditions on Friday.
As night approached the walker who had taken the long route from Snake Woodlands to Alport Castles and Bleaklow called for help and was told to stay at their location.
They were met and then guided back by members of Glossop Mountain Rescue Team and then given a lift to their car to make their way home.
Urban rescue for MRTs
It was a rescue with a difference for members of Woodhead and Edale Mountain Rescue Teams who were called to a multi-agency agency incident in Sheffield on Friday evening.
A teenager had fallen down a steep banking and a rope rescue was required.
The teams joined the fire service and medical professionals in getting care to the injured youngster and then lifting them back to the top of the banking on a stretcher and to the waiting ambulance.
