Officers investigating an alleged assault are appealing for witnesses and information.
The assault occurred on Dinting Road, between the train station and the 30mph sign, between 16:30-17:00 hours, between the 15th and 19th January 2024, when the victim, an 11 year old female was allegedly dragged into the back of a stationary car parked on Dinting Road.
The vehicle was described as a large, black, new vehicle and pointed in the direction of Dinting Train Station.
The victim has managed to escape and fled the scene along Dinting Road
Officers are now keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault, as well as anyone who may have driven past and has dashcam footage.
