Babyflxcko

The artist of the week on Tameside Radio's Local Music Spotlight is 23-year-old female singer songwriter & producer Babyflxcko, who has spent the last few years creating stunning soulful jazz and R'n'B instrumentals and soulful melodies.

Babyflxcko released her first EP 'Emotions' in 2021 after working alongside other musicians and developing her already amazing musical skills on a project called 'Soundcamp' in the same year. Her musical influences include Jhene Aiko, Billie Eilish and Amy Winehouse to name just a few. 

Last month Babyflxcko performed a live performance for the Tramlines Festival via their Instagram live, with her track ‘Elevated’ from the Emotions EP featuring on the setlist.

The song went on to be played on national radio and was featured on the BBC 1Xtra Music Introducing show with Theo Johnson. She was then asked to perform in Reverend & The Makers iconic frontman Jon McClure’s pop-up shop at the Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield, to do an intimate acoustic set that not only was she extremely grateful at being given the opportunity to do, but also then added many more followers to her ever-growing fanbase thanks to her outstanding performance.

The music of Babyflxcko will be played on every weekday show on Tameside Radio all this week from 6am to 7pm.
