Santa's swap sleigh for Stagecoach buses

A selection of Santa's have switched their reindeers and sleighs for a more modern mode of transportation, Stagecoach buses!

With Father Christmas being extra busy this year ensuring everyone has a safe and happy festive period, he has called upon some helpers to help spread some cheer across the borough.

Kitted out in the famous red suit and fluffy white beards, Stagecoach Manchester bus drivers are swapping their usual attire for a more festive look this year in a bid to raise much needed cheer and funds for communities across Greater Manchester.

As well as creating much needed smiles across passengers this year, the company will also be campaigning to raise vital funds for their chosen charity, Forever Manchester.

Forever Manchester is the only charity that raises money to support community activity across Greater Manchester and believe that connected communities make ‘stronger and happier’ people.

The charity has delivered over £39 million worth of community funding over the last 30 years, benefiting 1.1 million people.

Jean Mills, Head of Business Development at Forever Manchester said, “It’s fantastic that Stagecoach is continuing to support the charity throughout this difficult time. We’re thrilled this is going head this year”.

Being one of Britain’s leading public transport businesses helping to connect communities for 40 years, Stagecoach are pulling out all the stops as usual to ensure Christmas is as special as it can be this year.

While the real Santa is away working hard at the North Pole, his helpers and his elves will be helping the public to commute around the area and are hoping this will bring joy to those who have suffered through a momentous year.

If you happen to see Santa on your travels, make sure to give him a wave and a smile!
