New homes shape up in Stalybridge

Two derelict sites in Stalybridge will be transformed into high-quality homes by a newly formed property developer.

Manchester-based Northern Property Consortium (NPC) will build two semi-detached, three-bedroom homes on both Alma Street and Sycamore Street in their maiden project.

The developments come after NPC agreed a key short-term finance deal worth £550,000 with independent SME funding specialist, One Stop Business Finance.

NPC secured the land with planning permission in 2018 and 2019 and the project looks set to be the launchpad for the company’s ambitious growth plans, as it seeks further sites across the North West.

NPC founder and director, Rick Parker, said: “Beginning work on site at our two projects in Stalybridge is a significant step in the development of NPC and we are looking ahead to a busy 2020.

“Key to our success is our network of support partners, and this is why One Stop Business Finance have been invaluable. Mark Ellis and the OSBF team took time to get to know me and my colleagues and understand what we are looking to achieve with NPC.”
